Grand Prix Chairs by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen, Set of 5

This set of 5 Grand Prix chairs was designed by Danish architect Arne Jacobsen in the 1950s and manufactured by Fritz Hansen in Denmark. This design won the grand prize at the Milan Triennale in 1957. These early chairs were acquired as a set from the original owner. They are made of molded teak with visible grain and display a rich aged patina. The chairs were bought and then stored after only a short time of usage, therefore they remain in a very good vintage condition.
